Holiday Bungalow
A holiday bungalow situated at Woolacombe Bay in Devon, is available for
holidays for people with acquired brain injury and their family and carers.
This facility is based in a well managed site having sea views and easy access
to the sites facilities.
That includes a restaurant cafe, clubhouse with a beer deck giving spectacular
views of Lundy Island and Woolacombe Bay, an indoor swimming pool and a
sauna and a games room.
There is also a recently developed Spar Market and Takeaway service which are
both open for long hours all year round.
Most of the beaches in the area have gently shelving shores and together with
a lifeguard service during the main season, make for excellent family bathing.
In addition Woolacombe is recognised as the areas most popular beach and as
well as the main beach it has several smaller coves, such as the Shell Beach at
Barricane. A spectacular walk around Morte Point or directly from Mortehoe
Village leads to the isolated but pretty Rockham Bay.
Both Woolacombe and Croyde have been consistent winners of the coveted
European Blue Flag whilst Putsborough Hele Bay and Combe Martin have also
gained the Tidy Britain "Seaside Award" for their excellent facilities.
